Our school admissions arrangements are in accordance with the Local Authority as outlined in our policy and the www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/schooladmissions website.
This website allows you to apply on-line for a school place, either for the start of school or as a mid-year admission if you are moving to our school from another part way through the school year. Of course, we would love to hear from you too so that we can arrange for a school tour and offer you advice in relation to your admission if required.
Our school has a Published Admissions Number (PAN) of 12 pupils for each year group. Our setting allows for some flexibility in this number; however we always consider manageability of class sizes in the classrooms they will be working in before accepting pupils in excess of this year group number.
We can offer advice in respect of school transport if you are joining or allocated our school from outside the village.
In the case of over-subscription, we would look at distance from school and siblings in the first case.

We like to keep it simple and we want you to pick the right school first time:
- If you can, have a good look around the website to start to get to know us
- Perhaps call to arrange a visit or to chat over the phone
- To apply, please visit www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/schooladmissions and click Apply Online
- School responds electronically to the LA, who in turn contacts you
- Either prior to or on your first day we ask you to complete our school forms
- When you arrive, you will receive a complimentary rucksack

Reception Year - Admission to Primary School - starting in September 2024
The application process for Reception children starting in September 2024 is carried out by the Lincolnshire County Council via their online application system between 15 November 2023 and closes 15 January 2024.
Visits to school are encouraged and welcomed at a time convenient to you. Please contact the school office to make an appointment by telephoning 01522 868354.
After this date you can phone Lincolnshire County Council for an application form or make a telephone application.
As we are close to the County border, if you live outside of Lincolnshire you can still apply through your own local authority and they will liaise with Lincolnshire.
You will receive your school offer either via email or letter on 16 April 2024 depending on how you applied. Once you have received your offer - please remember to accept it either online or by telephoning 01522 772030.

Once we receive our list of families who have accepted a place at our school, we will write to you to share our transition process which takes place during the summer term before your child starts in Reception. We aim to make this process as flexible and relevant to you and your child’s needs as possible in order to enable a smooth transition to full time ‘big school’ in September.
Mid-year Admissions
We welcome mid-year admissions. If you are moving schools or moving into the area, please contact the school office on 01522 868354 to make an appointment to visit the school if you are able to meet us and visit.
