Emergency School Closure

 

 

The decision to close in an emergency will only be taken if it is not practicable or safe to open the school or keep the school open

 

This can be because of snow/ ice which makes travelling to school difficult or impossible, or if the school site is not safe for pupils and staff.

Please avoid telephoning the school to ask if we are open

We need to keep phone lines open and other calls will cause delays

We will only send out a message if we are closed

 

If the school is to be closed fully or partially, information will be given out using the following means of communication:
